Elemental Change

A two-person exhibition showcased at Gallery Vertigo and the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre.  

The following images focus on my contribution to the series.

Elemental Change was created based on the 4 Elements: Earth, Water, Air, Fire and the 5th element Aether or Spirit, which suggests Infinity, Pure Energy and Unlimited Potential, the unifying force that exists in all things.

Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Book One states: the only constant thing is change, or metamorphoses.

 5 fingers, 5 senses, 5 elements.

As a contemporary textile artist my goal is to capture the essence of this most talked about topic in today’s world, Global Warming.
